CAPABILITY · INTELLIGENCE & REPORTING

Your team speaks Hindi, Marathi, or Hinglish. The Copilot creates the record.

A workflow agent, not a chatbot. Your field technician says “DMart Koregaon monthly pest control twelve thousand” and a real quotation appears — right customer, right price, right GST. Offline voice capture works in basements and warehouses. Tailored-pricing addon — quoted on the demo.

Built for multilingual field-team operations — Hindi, Marathi, Hinglish, and English voice and text input
What this means for you

Three scenarios that describe the real change.

01

Your field technician dictates a quotation from a customer site

Your tech is standing in a DMart godown in Koregaon. They open Upgear on their phone, hold the mic, and say: “DMart Koregaon monthly pest control twelve thousand rupees for twelve months starting first April.” Six seconds later, a complete quotation — with the right customer, service, price, GST, and period — is ready to send. The customer receives it on WhatsApp before your tech has left the building.

02

The owner asks for the month’s picture without opening a dashboard

You’re in a taxi on the way to a meeting. You hold your phone to your mouth: “How many new AMCs this month and what’s total outstanding.” The Copilot answers with numbers, not a dashboard link. When you ask a follow-up — “of those new AMCs, which are above fifty thousand?” — it continues the thread. You arrive at the meeting knowing your month.

03

A sales rep creates a record by voice instead of typing

Your sales rep has just closed a phone call. They speak the contract details into the Copilot: “Renewal for Sahyadri Hospital, three lakh per year, same terms as last year, start first June.” The contract is drafted. The rep reviews, corrects one field, saves. What used to be a ten-minute typing exercise is a forty-second voice note.

What’s inside

Six things the Copilot does differently from a chatbot.

Workflow agent, not a chatbot

Most AI tools on the market answer questions. The Copilot creates records — quotations, contracts, invoices, payment entries, visit completions. It does the work, not the explanation of the work.

Hindi, Marathi, and Hinglish out of the box

Your field team speaks in their own language. “DMart में monthly pest control बारह हज़ार” becomes a real quotation without anyone translating. Hinglish code-switching is handled natively — you don’t pick a language; the Copilot handles the mixed input.

Offline voice capture on the device

Voice recognition runs on the device, not a cloud API. A technician in a basement, a warehouse, or a village with patchy 3G can still speak into the Copilot. The record syncs when signal returns. No dependency on data connection for the capture step.

Domain-trained — it knows your product, customers, and pricing

The Copilot is trained on your master data: your service catalogue, your customer list, your pricing rules, your tax structure. When you say “monthly pest control twelve thousand,” it applies your master rate, your GST, your rounding rules. It doesn’t need to look anything up.

Review-before-save on every record

The Copilot drafts; you save. Every record it generates appears on a review screen where you can adjust fields before committing. The speed-of-voice is paired with the discipline of a human sign-off. Nothing hits your database unreviewed.

Ambient business intelligence on voice

Beyond record creation, the Copilot answers natural-language queries over your live data. “How many AMC renewals in the next thirty days?” “Which five customers have the highest outstanding?” “What was last month’s revenue for the Mumbai branch?” The answers are computed against your own database, not a canned response.

Configuration — what you set up

Four steps. Live in one week; fluent in two.

01

Subscribe to the AI Copilot addon

From Settings, enable the Copilot. Your tenant is configured for the language packs you need (Hindi, Marathi, Hinglish, English). First-time activation takes under ten minutes.

02

Review your master data quality

The Copilot is only as good as the data it draws from. We walk through your customer list, service catalogue, and pricing rules with you on onboarding — spot inconsistencies, merge duplicates, fix spellings. Most tenants find 20–40 clean-up items; the Copilot quality improves immediately after.

03

Train your team with five real examples

We record five of your team’s real workflows as voice examples — the kinds of quotations or contracts they create weekly. The Copilot learns your phrasing patterns. After one week your team is fluent.

04

Roll out by role

Start with one role — usually field technicians or sales reps — before expanding to the whole team. Each role has a slightly different voice vocabulary; expanding one at a time lets you tune per-role before going wider.

Pricing

Optional addon on top of Upgear Core. Pricing tailored to your operation. Book a demo first — we run the Copilot on your actual workflow before any subscription commitment.

Typical ROI in 2–3 months for field-technician-heavy operations; faster for sales teams with high quotation volume.

Where this fits

AI Copilot is the voice layer on top of the entire product.

It touches Sales (voice-to-quotation, voice-to-contract), Field Operations (voice-to-visit-completion), Finance & Compliance (voice-to-payment-entry), and Intelligence & Reporting (voice-to-answer). Anywhere you create records or ask questions about your business, the Copilot can be the input method.

Known limits — what to expect

Three honest constraints before you enable it.

Voice is a different input method, not a magic button. Here’s where the boundaries sit.

Quality depends on microphone and ambient noise

The Copilot’s recognition is strong on a normal phone microphone in a normal environment. In a loud generator room or with a cracked phone mic, accuracy drops. For consistently high-noise environments (industrial fumigation sites), we recommend a ₹300–500 Bluetooth mic for the technician — pays back in a week of faster quotations.

Not a general-purpose chatbot

The Copilot is domain-trained for Upgear workflows — creating records, answering questions about your data. It is not a general chatbot; asking it to write poetry or help with an unrelated task will confuse it. This is deliberate. A narrow, reliable workflow agent is more useful than a broad, unreliable chatbot for your operation.

One device-session at a time

A user speaking into the Copilot on their phone is a single session. If they open the browser on a desktop at the same time, the two sessions don’t share state. This almost never matters in practice — most users are on one device at a time — but it’s worth knowing if you expect a single user to be speaking on two devices simultaneously.

AI Copilot questions

What teams ask before turning on the Copilot.

No. ChatGPT is a chatbot — it answers questions. The Copilot is a workflow agent — it creates records. When your tech says “DMart Koregaon twelve thousand monthly pest control,” a real quotation appears in your system, not a descriptive reply. It uses modern language models under the hood, but the surface your team touches is quotations, contracts, invoices — not a chat window.
Hindi, Marathi, Hinglish, and English are fully supported today. Hinglish code-switching (mixing Hindi and English mid-sentence) works natively — “DMart में monthly pest control बारह हज़ार” is understood. Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Gujarati are on the 2026 roadmap; write to us if your deployment needs a specific language sooner.
Voice capture works offline — a technician in a basement or warehouse with no signal can still speak into the Copilot. The record creation step (which needs your pricing rules, customer list, and master data) syncs when signal returns. In practice this means your tech never has to wait for signal to capture the moment; the record finalises a few seconds later.
Every record the Copilot creates appears on a review screen before saving. You adjust fields if needed; you save when you’re ready. The Copilot doesn’t commit anything unreviewed. In practice, most records go through with zero edits; occasional records need one field adjusted. The review-before-save discipline means the speed of voice is paired with human sign-off.
For a field-technician-heavy operation, the answer is almost always yes. A single tech saving 20 minutes a day on quotations is 80 hours a year — that alone exceeds the cost of the addon at any of the rates we quote. For a sales team, the answer is also usually yes, though the ROI is slightly less direct. For an owner-only operation (one or two users, no field team), the Copilot is useful but may not clear the ROI bar; Core alone probably makes more sense. Your tailored quote on the demo confirms the addon rate for your operation so you can run the math directly.
Audio is captured on the device, transcribed locally, and the text is sent to the record-creation pipeline. The audio itself is not stored on our servers by default. If you enable audio-logging (for training or quality review), audio is stored encrypted inside your tenant database — not shared across tenants. You own the audio; you can delete it anytime from Settings.
Yes. Book a demo and we walk you through the Copilot on live-looking data during the call — on your actual sample workflow, not a generic pitch. Addons are billed annually, but you can cancel or swap at any anniversary with no proration games. Commit for a year, verify ROI on your operation, then decide.
Your Next Step
