Questions HR teams ask us

Is the live map watching my team all day? The live map and route playback cover the working day, and each manager sees only their own team. Priya and Deepa can’t open it at all. Who sees what is set per role.
What happens when a face doesn’t match? It isn’t rejected. It goes to that person’s manager with both photos and the distance from site. The manager accepts it or asks them to clock in again, and the decision is saved.
Can a supervisor approve expenses without seeing salaries? Yes. They approve leave, overtime and expense claims without seeing anyone’s pay.
How does a ₹180 fuel claim reach payroll? The technician adds the claim to the job and the manager approves it. It then appears on that month’s payslip, so nobody transfers ₹180 separately.
What does a new joiner go through? HR scans their Aadhaar, PAN and a cancelled cheque. UPGEAR reads the details and HR checks them. The new person then uses My HR on the app for leave, payslips and documents.
Does UPGEAR file PF and ESI? No. Payroll works out earnings and deductions from the components you set, and gives you the salary register and payslips. Filing stays with your CA or payroll partner. NOT INCLUDED
